Martin is the newest member of the team, having joined in September 2025. With experience across the legal profession, public sector and HR consultancy, he brings extensive expertise in providing HR and Employment Law support to clients, including complex areas such as TUPE, redundancy and settlement agreements.
After earning his Business Studies degree from Manchester Metropolitan University, Martin went on to complete a Diploma in Law followed by the Legal Practice Course (LPC). He later qualified as a solicitor through the CILEX route, further strengthening his legal expertise.
Early on in his career, Martin worked as a Trade Union Representative for the British Medical Association and Paralegal for a global legal business. Before joining EML, Martin held similar consultancy roles, delivering HR and Employment Law advice to a wide range of clients. During that time, he was part of a high-risk, complex team, gaining exposure to civil litigation and Employment Tribunal matters.
Fun fact: Martin enjoys learning languages as a hobby and is currently exploring French, Spanish and a bit of German – though he’s not fluent just yet!
