We’re delighted to announce the recent appointment of Cheryl Moolenschot to the Employee Management Ltd (EML) team. Cheryl is an experienced Litigation Consultant with over 11 years’ practice providing legal and tribunal representation to businesses.
Cheryl’s specialisms include discrimination claims (in particular disability discrimination claims), Judicial Mediation, and claims relating to TUPE transfers. She will be representing clients across a range of sectors, combining her extensive knowledge of employment law with the honest, down-to-earth advice that EML clients value and expect.
A member of the Bar, Cheryl passed her exams in Employment Law with ‘Outstanding’ accreditation. Speaking of her recent appointment, she said:
“I am thrilled to join the EML team and excited by this new challenge. This is a unique opportunity to apply my litigation way of thinking to grass roots HR advice. I look forward to getting out and about and meeting our clients over the coming months and supporting them in any way I can.”
Chris Nagel, Director and Head of HR at EML, says:
“Having handled more than 4,000 claims on behalf of employers and achieved an enviable success rate, employment tribunal representation has always been one of EML’s core services. In July 2017, when the Supreme Court determined that the tribunal fee regime was unlawful, our caseload rocketed and we looked to bring in a skilled and experienced advocate to reinforce our existing provision in this area.
When Cheryl’s CV dropped in, we interviewed her immediately and were impressed by her depth of knowledge, track record in tribunal, and commercially minded no-nonsense approach. We moved swiftly to make the appointment. Unsurprisingly, she has hit the ground running and already has two hearings lined up in the coming months. We’re looking forward to re-establishing tribunal representation as a cornerstone of our service provision, with Cheryl being an integral part of that process.”
