Event Description

Rising inflation and the cost-of-living crisis are causing many businesses to consider redundancies. According to ACAS, 1 in 5 employers expect to make redundancies before March 2023.

Whilst redundancy is a potentially fair reason for dismissal, it can be a tricky area to navigate and getting it wrong can leave the employer exposed to costly claims of unfair dismissal, and in some cases, unlawful discrimination. Managing redundancy can be a daunting prospect, but it doesn’t need to be with the right advice and support.

More and more employers are recognising the importance of supporting their employees through redundancy by offering outplacement services. This event will also look at how outplacement services can help affected employees transition into the job market or from employment to retirement.
